Color Matching Lab Staff (12 months contract)

Main responsibilities

• Lab sample preparation supporting new color development to fulfill technical and customers' requirements within guidelines and time schedule.
• Lab testing and measurement to check and verify the color development.
• Lab check and verify the feasibility of new colors for the pigmentation combination in the recipes with good knowledge of basecoat formulation and paint knowledge.
• Implement optimization measures to the responsible products and lab test to verify the new techniques, methods etc.
• Lab supporting to solves problems, examines root causes of encountered problems and implement the lab tests to work out sound solutions to the problems both from the theoretical and by experimental aspects
• Document experiments and provides complete information in accordance with applicable rules based on instructions, share Lab test report as well as the lesson learn summary
• Ensure the responsible area to fulfill the rules of Quality and safety of BASF.
• Share with development team via reporting/ workshops the experience gained in technical service laboratories/ development lab and manufacturing processes in proper application/ formulation techniques.

Responsible Care and EHS

• Maintain Safe working environment and operate safety for support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations, Company EHS guideline, ISO 45001, RC Requirements and Quality and Energy management system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or High Vocational Certificate (ปวส.) major in Chemistry.
• Experience in coating laboratory 0-3 years.
• Excellent process development / Technical problem-solving / Process optimization.
• Good communication and presentation skill in English.
