Objectives

• Responsible for all activities which are related to Ecoat technology in ASEAN.
• Supervise and control the Ecoat lab in terms of best practice, safety and development according to BASF rules and practices
• Represent ECoat technology management to customers and assist production, onsite service activities.

Main responsibilities

• Take responsibility for know-how transfer for ECoat recipes including production knowhow and EHS compliance, communicate with global competence team.
• Develop recipes and perform release experiments according to customer specification.
• Set up and validate technical specifications including material control plans.
• As the respected Product Owner, take overall responsibility for the materials quality in terms of NCM investigation, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Support line trials, line start-ups as well as trouble shooting online for respected materials.
• Support account managers in new business development through workshops, customer seminars, etc.
• Train staff and set up training plans for new employees within TC as well as other departments.
• Advise the TC Manager to hire performance measures and salary setting in the department.
• Ensure all teams and responsible areas meet company requirements of quality and EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; E-Coat experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OEM coating or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive OEM coatings and a demonstrated spirit of teamwork.
• Fluent in Thai, English and proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
