
Regional Professional and Specialty Solutions Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific(006482)
• To drive the implementation of global & regional strategy for urban pest control, Professional Vegetation Management (ProVM), Home & Garden (H&G) segments to achieve the business (with a focus on profitability) and market share growth for Asia Pacific.
• To develop short, mid- and long-term based Asia Pacific Professional & Specialty Solutions (P&SS)’ Strategy, manage the portfolio pipeline, including Life Cycle Management (LCM)’s, align with Global P&SS strategy, to maximize product value & drive growth.
• To build H&G consumer category brand (e.g. Suweida) for Asia Pacific in target countries in China.
• To support countries in the development and ensure timely implementation of new product launches.
• Drive the Regional 10 years forecast of P&SS in collaboration with countries and global
• To work with Global & regional P&SS Stewardship managers and ensure stewardship actions are implemented in countries for all segments.
• To lead and drive Marketing collaboration through “Marketing Community” to spread best practice sharing, technology transfer, offering exposures to key talents and cross-country coordination.
• To work alongside the Marketing Manager to extend and implement regional strategy and provide guidance for all Regional activities like LCM, reporting, strategy etc.
• Assist Asia Pacific P&SS Head for managing monthly business reviews and closely follow financial and non-financial KPIs.
• Drive collaboration and productive engagement across major drive countries to leverage best practices.
= Main Tasks =
• Develop, lead, communicate and drive the execute the segment strategies for Asia Pacific.
• Build & maintain P&SS portfolio in view of market trend, product life cycle and global & regional strategy to ensure sustainability new product pipeline for the respective segments.
• Review & support the business cases of new product launches and ensure Product Launch Excellence (PLE) process is implemented.
• Develop & drive brand building of the consumer category brand & go-to-market strategy for Asia Pacific.
• Accelerate the channel development & support the growth of e-commerce in home & garden segment.
• Work with Global P&SS KA manager & support country lead on third party licensing opportunities aligned with global strategy.
• Develop consumer stewardship SOP with the support of Global P&SS Stewardship manager. Responsible to review marketing communication contents to ensure compliance of stewardship communication guideline or requirements. Ensure the execution of global and regional stewardship initiatives are executed at country level.
• Manage and be responsible for all relevant marketing activities, business planning processes and systems for the assigned segments.
• Responsible for region wide project management of product developments from idea to launch (LCM/DEV projects).
• Ensure timely reporting via monthly reports and coordinate shared services/ controlling to create correct financial statements to keep countries, regional/ global stakeholders
= Job Requirements =
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Economics, Advertising, Marketing, Communication Arts, and other related courses.
• With 8-10 years relevant work experience in marketing, and 5 years direct experience in brand management, product marketing, channel management and go-to-market strategy. Experience in social media marketing, e-commerce, consumer centric brand building and digital initiatives are added advantages.
• Marketing concepts, tools and techniques including digital and social marketing and e-commerce.
• Experience in professional pest management, Home & Garden, crop protection industry is preferred.
• Project management. Product life cycle management, R&D project administration.
• Asia Pacific wide country collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making.
