Post Doctoral, Fluid Process Engineering(006988)
- Support complex projects and propose new projects and optimization potentials
- Maintain and build up contacts in Research, Operational Divisions and external partners
- Continuously strengthen own competencies and actively develop expertise field. Further develops the team know-how, initiate knowledge transfer if needed.
- Ensure research/project activities fulfil the requirement of BASF compliance and EHS regulations
- Continuously observe, analyze and assess scientific and technical trends in chemical process development & optimization. Develop technical solutions using existing and new technologies, methods etc., to drive operational excellence initiatives.
- Built-up and develop contacts in research, ODs, academia and external partners.
- Transform the project objectives into work plans. Execution of complex projects under guidance, including benchmarking, process simulation, report preparation, etc.
- Implements potential developments into BASF portfolio for cross divisional usage.
- Closely watching and achieving project milestones, timeline, and budget. Present and document results, and file patents.
- Closely follow and evaluate scientific literature, publications, IP, and draw conclusions for the company.
Requirements:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or other relevant majors.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical processes. Experienced in Gasification or Biorefinery.
- Modeling and simulation experience with simulation tools, like ASPEN, AVEVA, etc.
- Comfortable working in an international and interdisciplinary team, and keen to expand your area of expertise.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese skills.
