Manager, Sales(007246)
Implement CTS sales strategy, develop commercial vehicle business with focusing on truck area, initiate contacts with existing and potential customers, identify their needs in terms of product specifications and schedules and sell appreciated products accordingly to achieve business targets.
Main Tasks:
1) Implementation of the sales strategies for sustainable sales development
- Collaborate with related functions e.g. technology and marketing to update, optimize and implement CTS strategy and roadmaps regarding truck business development.
- Take responsibility to continuously improve the sales results in truck segment through well management of product portfolio analysis, distribution channels, pricing proposals, analysis of market and so on.
- Develop and measure KPIs to enhance hunting behavior and efficiency of truck team.
- Deep dive in the commercial transportation areas to find growth potential beyond truck area to bring growth for the whole CTS team.
2) Sales development
- Well manage the current truck business and enlarge business share to achieve sales target. Well prepare for and make sure to win the annual tender in the current truck customer.
- Approach targeted top truck OEMs for new business development. Set up relationships directly with top truck OEMs, identify their power map & supplier introduction process & technical specifications etc., and push sales of truck segment via appropriate channels.
- Establish the pipeline table of truck projects to obtain, update, maintain the applications and service needs in order to support identifying new business opportunities.
- Enhance and acquire new distribution network.
- Lead the truck team to achieve sales targets.
3) Reporting
- Provide monthly business forecast data and monthly business review data.
- Provide professional information on market development, market share and market trends in truck field.
4) Define customer needs and product application to enhance achievements of sales targets
- Analyze the data to determine the overall needs of target market so that to enhance the internal products development.
- Push new technologies to all potential customers and introduce valued products, particularly focus on customer needs for new customers acquisition.
5) Credit management
- Monitor AR from time to time. Recovery of accounts receivable to ensure the stability of cash flow.
6) People management.
- Develop CTS Truck sales team members.
- Coach team members on sales skills.
- Performance management.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry or Automotive.
- At least 10 years in commercial vehicle areas better in truck area and with strong network with truck OEMs.
- Working experiences in multinational companies with solid sales performance.
- Rich experiences on business development from 0 to 1.
- Team management experiences.
- Good know-how on the truck business including commercial and technical.
- Know well about the project-based business model.
- Strong business development skills in new customers.
- Strategy thinking for key accounts and long-term projects.
- Good communication skills and coordination skills.
- With hunting spirit and can work under pressure.
- A strong leader who can deliver significant sustainable results with customer focus.
- High ability to influence cross functional teams, high impact and self-confidence.
- Good written and spoken English and Mandarin.
