• Drive BCS Business Growth: Enhance the growth of the BCS business by leveraging expert support, developing innovative product concepts, implementing promotional activities, and executing portfolio selling initiatives that are tailored to the specific needs of each country.
• Identify and Capture Opportunities: Proactively identify and create new opportunities for customer projects with key clients, and effectively manage collaborative projects to ensure successful business realization.
• Develop Go-To-Market Strategies: Collaborate with local country teams to formulate and implement effective go-to-market strategies that align with regional/local market dynamics and customer requirements.
Main Tasks:
• Drive BCS business and execute initiatives in Greater China
• Focused on developing the market with local team and distributors: expand customer portfolio and enhance market penetration
• Develop, lead, and being accountable for BCS business growth through distributor management and customers engagement
• Build and manage strong, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective collaboration, alignment, and long‑term business partnership
• Work closely with BASF local sales & mkt organization & distribution acting as BCS “expert”
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and technical support in alignment with BCS global business management and local sales strategies
• Gather market needs, trends and market intelligence related to Bioactives
• Implement suitable training and expertise development measures for internal colleagues / distributors / customers in Greater China
• Build up and manage Greater China local CSP pipeline, orchestrating the activities of the Global R&D towards the successful launch of CSP projects.
• Captures, manages and monetize specific customized projects
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master Degree in Science and/or Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 8years’ relevant working experience, preferably in a technical service and/or marketing field
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• Good understanding of care chemicals especially BCS product portfolio and related applications
• Strong business acumen with strategic thinking mindset
• Demonstrates strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experienced in value-based selling
