Assistant Manager, Technical Development (TPU) (006425)
- Provide technical know-how and on-site service to assist in developing business models that includes understanding of customer needs and also formulate a targeted value proposition for TPU injection molding applications in FSL,CE, and etc. including new processing technology development, current portfolio processing evolution, and customer trouble analysis and shooting .
=Main Tasks=
- Provide fast and professional technical service to customers independently. Follow up customer’s complains and issues in fast, efficient and professional manner;
- Be focus and professional at FSL and consumer electronics applications, can support other colleagues;
- Working closely with team, can give guidance to junior colleagues if needed. Support leader’s management work;
- Collect marketing information, develop new customers, and coordinate closely with sales to achieve sales target;
- Prepare and keep documentation of all technical activities, finish all works according to quality system requirements;
- Ensure that BASF and local EHS regulations are observed within the company;
- Coordinate closely within internal team to ensure that consistent quality batches are produced in a timely manner.
=Main Requirements=
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, major in Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in TPU industry, or related polymer industry, especially the experience of trouble shooting in extrusion processing
- Good computer operation skill including good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English in both speaking and written.
