OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

        

  • The incumbent is responsible to ensure smooth end to end SCM operation, planning and monitoring the processes of customer inquiry, inventory management, order processing domestic as well as export to achieve Division’s objective.
  • In this position, the incumbent works closely with sub regional sales team, Regional Supply Chain team and other functional teams in order to streamline business process, improve the effectiveness, control logistics cost and enhance customer partnerships to ensure that all of supply chain activities will in line with the domestic and regional team goals.
  • Next to operation, the continuous improvement of operations, resulting in cost savings and service improvements is in the responsibility of the Sub regional SC Head.
  • Scope of this position is ASEAN sub-region and ANZ sub-region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Management
•    Manage end to end supply chain process and operations.
•    Develop and regularly review the Supply Chain strategy based on BU strategy/ CIM and upon consultation with Marketing, Production, Sales, Controlling and Procurement and continuously work operations improvement to support profitable growth.
•    Introduce business rules and service levels based on customer requirements and BU strategy.
•    Monitor and manage SC performance and SC partners via KPIs, benchmarks, defined service levels.
•    Coordinate the enhancement of KPIs and target values in close coordination with marketing/sales management and production & logistics controlling.
•    Mobilize team’s energy and expertise to achieve objectives. Help the team stay focus on goals, removing barriers and obstacles and negotiating alternatives.
•    Identify cost drivers within SC processes, initiate cost saving measures.
•    Manage logistics cost.
•    Support investment projects in SC related questions and optimize SC network accordingly.
•    Proactive initiatives together with sales teams to explore concepts to provide specific customer solutions for logistics excellence.
•    Drive continuous optimization of processes and technologies within the Supply Chain according to business needs considering cost and service efficiency. 
Inventory Management
•    Monitor and manage inventory situation in BU. Initiate actions if outside targets.     
•    Initiate and lead stock optimization actions (aged stock, safety stock, and target levels).
•    Provide input and support regional and local procurement with ED specific logistic requirements.
People & Organizational Management
•    Develop Controlling as well as Logistics capabilities and competencies in the organization.
•    Set measurable targets to monitor team’s performance.
•    Steer, guide and align SC/Controlling activities of the different countries.
•    Communicate and align supply chain initiatives with business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or relevant fields
  • Min. 10 years leadership position in Supply Chain Management
  • Proficient in understanding of Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong analytical Skill.
  • Advance knowledge in SAP system and ISO Procedure
  • Strong interpersonal skill, Leadership skills
