Objectives of Position
The Process Intern will support in various projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing and improving the plant's manufacturing processes. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the field of engineering plastics within a dynamic and challenging industrial environment. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the successful implementation of process improvement initiatives.
Main Tasks
- Review and revise process safety documentation for the PMA Plant to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current operations.
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support the execution of process improvement and cost optimization studies, including benefit estimation and documentation.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, analyses, and presentations for process improvement and LEAN initiatives.
- Support the successful implementation and execution of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects, including coordination and follow‑up activities.
- Create, review, track, and close documentation in accordance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements and defined timelines.
- Support P&ID reviews for the PMA Plant and coordinate required updates with drafting resources and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Manufacturing Systems
