Objectives of the Position

• Lead Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) initiatives.
• Execute maintenance activities per standards and timelines.
• Drive safety culture and maintain 5S workplace standards.
• Ensure preventive maintenance per SAP PM schedule.
• Comply with statutory equipment requirements.

Main Tasks

Maintenance/Project

• Lead mechanical contractors for daily/scheduled maintenance.
• Execute mechanical tasks per SAP PM work orders.
• Report monthly maintenance expenses.
• Collaborate with Project Engineer on CAPEX/OPEX activities.
• Monitor spare parts inventory.
• Supervise contractor activities and update work instructions.

EHS Responsibilities

• Ensure contractor compliance with BASF SHE standards.
• Close safety review action items.
• Act as damage/spillage coordinator during emergencies.
• Report incidents in AIMS system.
• Assist in RCA investigations.
• Promote safe work culture and PPE compliance.
• Participate in Responsible Care and ISO systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science.
• Minimum 2 years in chemical/relevant industry.
