Officer - Mechanical
Objectives of the Position
- Operation and Maintenance of the Ice plant, Chilling Plant, Cooling Towers and HVAC systems in Dispersions, MPP, Warehouse and Admin Area.
- Ensuring continuous support to production plants for Day-to-day maintenance and breakdown works during shift hours.
Main Tasks
- Operation of Ice plant, Chilling units, Cooling towers and HVACs in Dispersions, MPP, Warehouse and Admin Area.
- To reduce the breakdown time by Carrying Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of the Plant equipment
- To ensure maximum availability of all the equipment with regular checks and inspections
- Co-ordination with production plants and Inter departments for timely trouble shooting of problems.
- To ensure that all requirement for ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 9001:2015
- To ensure good housekeeping of Ice Plant, Chilling Plant, Cooling Towers, and others plant areas.
- Adherence to highest safety standards to self and contract employees
- Adherence to work permits system and compliance to PPE’s.
- Comply to Statutory requirements and ensure the implementation and sustainability of all the relevant EHS policies to achieve excellent housekeeping, Zero LTIs and environmental incidents.
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 2 years of Maintenance experience in Chemical or Petroleum Industry. Additional experience in Utility operations/ Ice Plant operation & maintenance will be added advantage.
