Data Analyst- HVE
Objectives of the Position
- He/she is responsible for project data collection and performing analysis of the same for capital investment projects (<=50mio Euro) in Asia Pacific. He/she will ensure that the procedures and tools are up to date. He/she will support proper controlling services including projects estimation for the investment projects.
- He /she shall have a knowledge of Planning & controlling and estimation for capital projects with a focus on supports of project data analysis.
Main Tasks
- Support the built-up and maintenance of historical data base for cost estimating, controlling and planning & scheduling
- Prepare draft of Project Analysis Plan (PAP) for team alignment
- Maintain project list to assure timely analysis incl. progress tracking and follow up with stakeholders
- Collect data, perform sanity checks and prepare for validation
- Organize and conduct validation meetings with team & challenger
- Perform data entry and upload into the ABC-Data base
- Estimating Tool & Data Base Development
- Support software tests to assure the compliance w/ requirements
- Support preparation and maintenance of online and classroom training materials. Perform trainings in English for standard user.
- First level support for estimating tools in English
- Additional:
- Support Cost Estimating team to mitigate project workload fluctuations
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- Education:
1. Bachelor degree with major in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil engineering mandatory.
2. MBA or Master degree is preferable .
- Working Experience:
1. At least more than 8 years total work experiences.
2. At least more than 2 years work experiences in chemical and petrochemical industry.
3. At least more than 4 years work experiences in project controlling.
4. Experiences with Digital technology & IT Tools.
5. International experiences is preferable.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
Core skills:
- Hands on experience with Python, SQL and Power BI
- Work experience in LCP (CAPEX) Projects
- Good understanding of cost estimating, controlling and scheduling tools
- Project management understanding
- Moderation skills and techniques
- Digital savvy and strong change agent
- Self-motivated and structured working style
Job Related preferable skills:
- Skilled in chemical process design/optimization preferable.
- Skilled in chemical engineering skills preferable.
- Experience in the construction of investment projects is preferable.
- Worked as Data analytics engineer
