Main Tasks:

Objectives:

Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. The Digital Hub Nanjing is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.
In this role, you will act as a competent contact person in the area of Supplier Security towards our Chinese Suppliers & 3rd party vendors, Internal Business Partners, Procurement and Legal Team as well as within the regional and global Cyber Security Organization.
Main Tasks:
Your area of responsibility includes all organizational aspects of Supplier Security.
You will implement a concept for a Supplier Risk Classification for Greater China
Furthermore, you will carry out supplier audits to verify the compliance of suppliers with the BASF regulations.
You will be responsible to check if technical specification and/or implementations delivered or operated by 3rd party suppliers fulfill the requirements of our internal security ruleset
Determine necessary measures to improve supplier services so that they fulfill BASF Standards / Requirements
Documentation of the certificates of the suppliers (e.g. ISO 27000) as well as a regular review is also part of your tasks.
You will promote the execution of Supplier Security Assessments (SSA) prior to Contract signing and as part of procurement/bidding process to our internal business partners
In addition, you will work closely with the colleagues of the procurement and the Legal Department to validate supplier contracts for the existence of Supplier Security Addendum and educate them on the integration of SSA into their process
As part of the CISO organization you will closely work together with the Governance, Risk and Compliance Team as well as Cyber Security Strategy & Engineering Team
Job Requirements ：

Job Requirements ：
You have completed a subject-related university/technical college degree in (business) computer science or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and further training.
You have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience with ISO 27001 and internal security rulesets
Work experience with Suppliers is a plus
Mandatory
Degree in (business) informatics or technical training
Several years of professional experience in the field of information security or in purchasing
In-depth expert knowledge of supplier management and the associated IT risks
You can work independently in a multi-national / global team and bring a structured, analytical, quality-focused approach with you
You have great communications skills to align and communicate with stakeholders throughout BASF's organization.
