工作目标 Objectives:
With our team "Enterprise Website Solutions" - embedded in the product family "Digital Commerce", we deliver a global Digital Experience Platform and are therefore THE digital face to the customers of BASF. We inspire and advise our business units with our many years of experience in Web Marketing in both business and technical matters.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing UI / UX designs, taking technical decisions and taking care of their technical implementation in a suitable state-of-the-art technology stack
主要任务 Main Task:
- As part of an agile DevOps team, you will independently drive the further development of the BASF Digital Experience Platform
- Developing according to modern coding, security and tool standards and implementing frontend architecture.
- Monitoring and improving frontend performance.
- You will always have an eye on technical innovations and evaluate them in terms of their usefulness for the platform.
- Collaborating with designers, backend developers, and other team members to create a cohesive and functional product.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development to continuously improve the application's UI and UX.
- The team uses agile methodology and you will work with methods like Scrum and pair-programming in a global team
- Within the team, as a multiplier, you will use your expertise to support a continuous exchange of knowledge and thus the further development of the team and ensure efficient cooperation with external service providers.
任职要求 Job Requirements:
- Bachelor/Diploma in (business) informatics or completed IT training
- At least 1+ years hands-on development experience in Angular(v.15+) is a must
- Multiple years of experience in creating responsive designs is a must
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, CSS, HTML and REST API (JSON) required.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest and Playwright
- Experience in implementing and running frontends in cloud environments (AWS/Azure preferred) using CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and CDN technologies
- Basic experience with regards to oAuth2 and npm.
- Agile mindset, proactive entrepreneurial action, good self-organized work organization and teamwork in an agile environment, complemented by a strong innovation and customer orientation
- Web Services, Rest

Digital Hub China was founded in 2020 in Nanjing. As part of the Global Digital Hub Verbund, the hub is rapidly growing with a target of a three-digit number of employees in coming years. Focused on digitalization and innovative IT solutions to enhance BASF’s IT portfolio and expertise in China, it brings an all-around capable team of digital talents to create solutions in the context of China’s unique digital landscape to BASF. It also contributes to the smart manufacturing endeavors for the new mega project in Zhanjiang.
