工作目标 Objectives:
As part of Global Digital Service, our team is responsible to build advanced and innovated digital solutions and products in the region for the region.
We consult, design, deliver and operate local specific applications and be responsible for entire life-cycle management of the applications we delivered. We're also the owner of Chinese Platform(s) and be responsible to design/develop/operate the platforms to benefit the business users in the region.
Our team members cover diverse roles in a DevOps concept: Business Consultant, Project Manager, Product Owner, Solution Architect, Software Developer, Cloud Engineer etc.

In this role, you will be responsible for applications designing, implementing, deploying, debugging, also overseeing the day-to-day operations of complex platforms and applications/systems. You will need to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems and solutions, troubleshoot any technical issues that arise, together with the team to offer end-to-end integrated digital solutions for BASF business users in APAC.

- Design, develop, implement, operate and continuously optimize applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug the applications and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
- Understand our products and solutions in depth.
- Be responsible for application deployment and daily operation.
- Manage and monitor platforms/systems’ performance to ensure they are running smoothly and meeting performance standards. Make necessary improvements and upgrades in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as architecture, cloud, cyber security, user support etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, as necessary, to ensure the smooth operation of the platform and applications.
- Develop and implement operation procedures and policies to enhance system support efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular system check and audit to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies and regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in platform/application operations and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies or processes.

- University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software or other related discipline.
- Minimum 6+ years of work experience, at least 4 years in developing, implementing, operating, and managing complex applications/systems or large-scale platforms.
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and Software Development Life-cycle, ability to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions.
- Experience working in multi-national company, work experience in large internet companies both domestically and internationally is a plus;
- Strong technical knowledge on IT technology and solution landscapes, proven record in application development and implementation is a must, practical experience in managing WeCom, enterprise OA and similar complex applications is crucial.
- Familiarity with system architecture, common coding languages (java, C, python etc.), infrastructure components, databases, middleware products (Kafka, Redis etc.), and security protocols is a must.
- Convincing experience in system deployment and operation is essential. This involves cloud (Azure, AWS, Ali cloud…) operation, managing servers, virtual machines, storage systems etc., and ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Proficient in technologies/tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible is preferred.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and problem-solving, includes diagnosing problems, analyzing logs and metrics, and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience in handling critical incidents and minimize downtime. This involves implementing incident response procedures, coordinating with various teams, and conducting post-incident analysis.
- Proven experience in optimizing system performance, which includes performance tuning, capacity planning, implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience in managing relationships with external vendors and service providers is beneficial, which involves negotiating contracts, overseeing service-level agreements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day collaboration.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, such as data protection and privacy, is essential. Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures is highly-preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, willingness and ability to learn fast.
- Strong self-driven and sense of responsibility, very good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with scrum or equivalent agile development process.
- Fluent English and Mandarin skills

Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience and ability in web development and WeChat mini-programs development is a strong plus.
- Experience in project management is a strong plus and valuable to effectively manage large-scale systems. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
- Experience in leading and managing a team is a plus. Ability to provide guidance, mentor, and foster a collaborative environment.
