Objectives:
The Digital Data Chain (DDC) is the full digitalization of the information provisioning process for products from the manufacturer to the owner/operator. The DDC consist of the three technologies:
(1) Automatic Identification of products via QR-code,
(2) intelligent product documentation with metadata
(3) documentation provisioning via cloud-based Information Exchange Platforms (IEP)
BASF' s DDC team is in charge for the implementation of the DDC within BASF.
In this role, you will be part of the DDC team and develop together with your team members software solutions for the DDC.
This are for example mobile and web applications to access product documentation on the IEP, via scanning the QR-code on the products.
Main Task:
- Analyze the user stories for documentation provisioning and accessing over the IEP
- Develop front & backend of the solution according to requirements from user stories
- Further improve the developed solutions and add new functionalities if required
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Informatics or in a comparable field
- Minimum 1 years related working experience
- Experience in agile software development
- Front & Backend knowledge
- Python
- JavaScript
- Experience in web-application development
- Java
- Basics in Microsoft SQL
- Docker for software deployment
- Fluent English skills

Digital Hub China was founded in 2020 in Nanjing. As part of the Global Digital Hub Verbund, the hub is rapidly growing with a target of a three-digit number of employees in coming years.
