Objective of the Position:

    • Responsible to handle supply plan for rolling 36 months for products formulated and refilled in APA India Contract Manufacturers (CM)
    • Ensure flexible, reliable and timely import, formulation and refill planning and execution as per the customer demand
    • Maintain SAP & SNP planning related master data for the given product portfolio.
    • Optimize inventory level for all responsible products imported, formulated, refilled in India
    • Responsible to ensure all SCM related KPIs and NCMs are managed for the given portfolio

 

Job Responsibilities:

Demand and Supply Planning:

  • Challenge / Validate demand from India (planned and unplanned) to ensure good import, formulation and refilling planning
  • Plan, optimize and execute import, formulation and refill planning at tollers to ensure timely supply of finished goods to the markets in line with customers’ requirements
  • Ensure correct maintenance of all relevant master data in SAP and APO to enable accurate planning (including artwork)
  • Prepare / actively participate in monthly meetings and highlight key issues to be addressed for follow up actions (IN Demand Review, SA Business Planning Meeting (BPM), Resource & Operational Planning (ROP) with India CMs, Country S&OP), escalate where needed to SCM RBU team leads
  • Collaborate with country Operational Business Planner (OBP), lead monthly detailed demand and supply planning adjust import, formulation and refill plan accordingly in ROP
  • Co-ordinate with AI planner and Bulk planner to ensure timely arrival of AI and formulated bulk to the CM location
  • Ensure usage of planning system to plan the supply of all materials and ensure all planning related master data are up to date.
  • Enforce supply chain / order processing related business rules (Order lead time, artwork, MOQ, etc.)

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Excellence and IN OBP to ensure FG inventory are kept at required level and with minimum dysfunctional stock
  • Coordinate all India non-conformance management activities
  • Responsible to achieve all core SC KPI and process related targets for the given portfolio (IN)

Continuous Improvement and Projects:

  • Support/ drive implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in planning, inventory, relocation and/or other SC activities

People & team management:

  • Lead the team (FTE and Contractors) responsible for supply planning activities in India
  • Set measurable targets to monitor team’s performance
  • Develop competencies of the team and ensure succession planning for key roles are identified
  • Discuss and define development plan for the team members including required trainings

 

Job Requirements:

  • MBA / PGDBA in Supply Chain or Operations is Preferred
  • APICS certification will be an added advantage
  • 5 – 8 years of relevant experience, Supply planning, SAP and APO knowledge is preferred
  • Supply Chain planning and scheduling, operations. Understanding of Crop Protection business and SAP knowledge are strong advantage,
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders i.e. local, regional etc. and deliver the task within specified timeline
  • Needs to display analytical ability and attention to details
