Objectives of the Position         

  • The primary function of this role is to maximize the customer experience by providing efficient order management, managing interfaces with customers, and ensuring service providers and suppliers to meet customer expectations.
  • Effectively communicate and resolve supply chain issues with customers and sales
  • Responsibility of operational planning for local tank incl. replenishment scheduling

 

Main Tasks

1. Order to Cash Management

  • Manage Master Data maintenance process to ensure effective order management and the End-to-End order process by proactively collaborating with multiple functions.
  • Capture market intelligence on the supply chain related topics from daily interaction with customers and share with the business as appropriate and be an integral part of business management.
  • Contribute to development of customer relationships through proactive customer communication related to order management e.g. product availability, order status and delivery tracking.
  • Support Credit Management, Billing and Accounts Receivable Follow-up.
  • Issuing tax invoices for month end closing.
  • Handle customer complaints in BASF’s available system (Non-Conformance Management, tNPS) and actively communicate status, investigation results, corrective actions to customers to ensure on time closure for non-product quality related complaints. Capture customer expectations / requirement and feedback to the business team.
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in compliant with business rules, internal standards, and local government regulations. Report any areas of concern immediately to Supply Chain Manager.
  • Provide order status report and monitor customers’ order placement against sales forecast and Joint-customer call to customers in case of request by sales team as sales supporter

 

2. Inventory Management for Merchandise stock sales

  • Execution of optimum order replenishment based on updated 6-month demand rolling forecast (OMP)
  • KPI management for DIV & OIV
  • PO Management and control
  • Monitoring the inventory status frequently and share the status with Sales team (weekly report)
  • Good daily communication skill with tank terminal owner
  • Minimum expertise and experience of bulk chemical handling and tank operation and basic chemical knowledge of the product specification in relation with safety issue
  • Monitoring/check SOP for Restab operation from tank terminal frequently
  • Support region in case of auditing tank terminal

 

3. Others. 

  • Support the regional project roll-out and lead the local project management effort (guide project team, ensure implementation, monitor, and document results such as Audit coordination, VISTA, Power Celonis and Transform Workshops)
  • Support regional SC head to monitor key KPIs (e.g.NCM performance) for A-CPA.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

  • Experience in using ERP systems such as SAP, Excel (at least intermediate level). Experience with data analytics or reporting systems (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus.
  • Understanding of end-to-end OTC process
  • Experience in customer service in an international company for more than 3 years or relevant work experience in SCM/sales/controlling/, chemical industry background is a plus
  • Possess excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good proficiency in English
  • Proactive, can work independently and in teams
