Job Description:
General Purpose:
Ensure that all work related to Occupational Safety and Health and Environment in accordance with the Company and Goverment Regulations
Main Responsibility:
Environment :
- Recording hazardous waste generated from the production process and other activities that enter hazardous waste shelter
- Scheduling and delivering hazardous waste to third parties who has contract with BASF
- Documenting the shipment of hazardous waste in accordance with the regulations
- Create a balance sheet of hazardous waste
- Provide assistance to external lab parties during field monitoring
- Conducting internal environmental monitoring
- Coordinating with related parties regarding environment
Occupational Safety :
- Conduct review of work permit procedures and ensure that the work permit is in accordance with the update of BASF standards and government regulations
- Conduct periodic monitoring of work permits issued including on-site monitoring
- Coordinate with related parties regarding work permits
- Conduct periodic monitoring related to the risk of hazards in the workplace in accordance with government regulations
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding risk assessment of work activities
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding risk assessment of chemicals used
- Coordinate with EHS corporate and/or other sites
Personnel Protective Equipment :
- Making a PPE matrix according to factory conditions
- Conduct periodic PPE checks in accordance with regulations
- Ensure the implementation of management standard related to PPE in accordance with BASF standards or Regional Regulations
Emergency Response :
- Coordinate with related parties regarding the checklist for emergency response equipment
- Report the results of checking emergency response equipment to supervisor / manager
EHS Training :
- Coordinate with relevant parties regarding EHS internal training
- Scheduling Internal EHS Training
- Review EHS Internal Training Materials
Job Requirement:
- Minimum bachelor degree from Chemical Engineering / Public Health / Environmental Engineering
- Minimum GPA 3.00
- Good analytical thinking.
- Have a working experience is preferred.
