About The Role 

 

As an Executive Assistant, you will be a key partner to the Managing Director (MD), providing effective administrative and operational support to enable focus on strategic and businesscritical priorities.

 

You will act as a trusted first point of contact, managing calendars, travel, communications, meetings, and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, while coordinating leadership meetings and supporting senior stakeholders across the business. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work proactively.

 

How You Will Do It

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Managing Director, managing communications, calendars, and priorities while handling information with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing packs, and minutes in line with BASF corporate standards.
  • Manage complex travel arrangements, itineraries, schedules, and expense processing in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide efficient administrative and operational support to senior leaders, including event coordination and leadership meeting logistics.
  • Support purchase requisitions, goods receipting, and officerelated services through SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee daytoday office management activities, including visitor coordination, access management, and general administrative support.

 

What We Look For

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting senior leaders within a corporate environment. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, supporting executive level activities, and handling confidential information with professionalism.

You will:

  • Have 5–8 years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant or senior administrative assistant.
  • Hold a university degree or higher, preferably in Arts, Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Be well organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally, with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working autonomously.
