Executive-Testing services

Objectives of the Position         

• Complete all assigned testing projects on time
• Maintain IATF 16949 quality requirements for Projects assigned
• Certification & Analytical services for assigned Projects
•  Maintain EHS standards as per site guidelines, Ensure implementation of all RC Practices and associated documentation

Main Tasks

• Complete all coatings testing requirements of assigned projects within specified cost, time, and quality requirements.
• Ensure defined manhours of training (16 man-hours/person/year) to reduce occupational safety incidents/PSIs.
• Coordinate with local and central procurement team for purchase of equipment spares and consumables.
• Ensure safe work practices in day-to-day laboratory activities by adhering to PPE’s usage.
• Day to day co-ordination with other departments
• Implement & maintain 5S

EHS Management:

• Implement EHS procedures to maintain safe working environment that supports department activities.
• Conduct walkthrough and audits in department to ensure early identification of hazards and initiate timely corrective actions and preventive practices.
• Ensure that safe handling of hazardous chemicals, adherence to PPE usage of the lab personnel, and the Work Permit system is properly followed. Compliance of process safety and environment code as per BASF practice.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical technology/engineering with 1-2 years’ experience or MSc Chemistry with 0-2 yrs experience
• English Communication skill is must
• Background with coatings Technology is added advantage
