Objectives of the Position         

  • This role is responsible to align business objectives with employee and management in EC India.
  • The position will work closely with other EC People and Culture Partner and support on all HR related matters and is responsible in; designing HR actions/ideas/rollouts, overseeing successful implementation of these rollouts and spearheading people engagement measures in the unit.

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

HR Perspective:

  • Responsible for establishing good discipline at the Coatings site by implementing company principles, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Support and handle site-related Internal and External issues of all employees specifically related to HR.
  • Responsible for Employment Life Cycle Management (Pre-Hiring Activities, Hiring Activities, Onboarding, Master Data Updating, Confirmation, Annual Salary Revision, Promotions, Absorption of Trainee, Employee Query Management, Disciplinary Actions, Long Service Awards, Employee Exit, Payroll Activities, Personal File Management, Insurance, Time Management, Leave Management, Monthly Reports, Statutory Compliance & Audit Activities, etc.).
  • Ensure soft skills Training as per the Training calendar and coordinate with respective department heads to fulfill it.
  • Coordinate with Site HR, HRBP & MD for calibration of site employees.
  • Responsible for Manpower Planning and Recruitment of required manpower for the Site and help to improve gender diversity at site.
  • Support on organization design, restructuring and cultural change.
  • Support all Strategic HR Operation topics: site expansion, HR projects, manpower planning and subsequent efforts that follow through a planning process.
  • Ensure high performing culture by supporting the unit’s leadership team on performance management discussion/calibration and annual salary review. Foster employee engagement/motivation by promoting recognition in the unit (based on regional framework or, if applicable, unit specific), monitor effectiveness.
  • Perform effective HR analytics by analyzing relevant parameters (e.g. Recruiting KPIs/staffing situation, demographics, attrition and all other HR related parameters) and proactively identify issues, highlight implications and derive actions if needed. Provide data driven insights for business decisions.

 

 

Legal, Compliances, QMS, IATF & EMS:

  • Compliance with Statutory requirements and adherence to the provisions of the Factories Act, ESI Act, PF Act, Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, Payment of wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act etc.
  • Responsible for obtaining requisite License / Renewal of Licenses under the provisions of various Labour Laws and complying with the terms and conditions as stipulated by the Authorities.
  • Responsible for upkeeping and Maintaining documentation related to EMS, QMS & IATF systems.
  • Monitoring of contractor’s workmen / Service providers engaged inside the Factory premises and ensuring statutory compliance by all the service providers.
  • Ensure to comply the liasoning documentation and approval as an when required with coordination authorities related to project etc.

 

Administration:

  • Preparing, organizing and storing information in paper and digital form related to HR and Admin.
  • Ensure to upkeep the payroll related activities as per the site scope.
  • Upkeep all the digital solution operation at site like access control; HR kiosk etc.
  • Ensure to implement and followed smooth deployment of NAPS scheme.
  • Ensure to get requirement of NAPS and recruit them wherever required.

 

Others:

  • Responsible for employee engagement activities and event management.
  • Responsible for coordinating with HRBP for employee’s survey and its feedback consolidation along with action plan to improve it.
  • Employer Branding, Industry Academia with Institutes
  • Time office management wage and salary administration of all site employees. (To coordinate with the payrolls section).

 

Job Requirements 

Education: Masters / Degree in Human Resources Management / Development or a related discipline in Social Science.

Working Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional HR and IR experience. Must have background for working in manufacturing and handling IR activities. Well verse with Labour laws and related activities

Technical & Professional Knowledge: 

  • Ability to make rational decisions in difficult situations with little input from others
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational and cultural awareness.
  • Strong business and analytical affinity and acumen, experience working with senior management and ability to operate and influence with impact in a matrix environment.
  • Flexible to travel when business needs and projects require.
