Performance Management & OVM, Global Operations Support (Executive)
Objectives of the Position
-
Responsible for all activities associated with performance and service reporting to ensure a consistent high level of performance and focus on continuous improvement throughout the Global Operations Support unit.

Responsible for organizing and coordination of meetings, collaborative initiative and manage follow up on assigned action items.

Support intra-regional and inter-regional system reporting and analysis, utilizing both internal and external data and reports.
Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

Run data extracts using BASF systems and databases on fixed intervals (daily, weekly, monthly…) and as required to support business requirements and during crisis management. Validate data accuracy and append necessary information to enable generation of reports.

Provide monthly KPI reporting as well as other necessary data analysis and reporting to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Global Operations Support unit.

Work closely with the local & regional teams to ensure consistent reporting of performance across all operations including reporting required for day-to-day operations.

Support continuous improvement and digitalization projects for the group by conducting detailed data and performance analytics.

Work closely with other regions to ensure accurate reporting of KPIs and adherence to target levels and to establish a clear understanding of what is driving the end-to-end delivery performance to customers.

Coordinate regular meetings of the various groups and systematic and timely follow up on outstanding action items. Involvement in regular ODS operational meetings for updates from stakeholders (internal & External) and to share updates on improvements / enhancements in performance reporting.

Operational vendor management activities support on performance reporting and analytics, training / support, etc. where assigned.

Operational vendor management monitoring support, inbound status reporting & documentation, etc.

Analyze and assess freight costs to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Job Requirements
Education
- Tertiary education in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Management or related field
Working Experience
-
Min 1-3 years in handling supply chain and/or import/export logistics operations preferred

Entry level to be considered based on demonstrated excellent track record of performance reporting and data analysis know-how.

Familiar with performance management of logistics service provider especially performance metrics and supplier management
-
Experience in SAP/ERP TM module
Technical & Professional Knowledge
-
Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams
-
Knowledge in SAP system (Transport Management) and data analytics preferred.

Familiar with dashboards and reporting tools SCI, Power BI, Tableau preferred.

Have knowledge of Supply Chain & procurement Processes, Transportation Management and Import export operations

Proactive team member who takes ownership and shows persistence to achieve results and exceed expectations.

Ability to work independently on problem solving and identifying solutions.

Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Good command of written and spoken English is necessity.
