Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture.

As part of the Web, Mobile & Digital Experience platform development team, you will be developing mobile applications for internal customers, supporting team initiatives and operations. You will be matched with a Senior engineer to mentor you throughout your internship.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Support BASF’s Digital roadmap by developing web / mobile apps, using agile ways of working in a DevOps approach.
• Engage, enable and collaborate with our internal customer in the development & QA process 
• Review current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support our internal customer by providing a solution that is suited to their use case

Job Requirements 

Education 

• Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or in a comparable field
• Able to commit 4-6 months full-time internship from March 2025

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• General understanding in agile methodologies and able to organize work independently
• Capability to effectively comprehend, evaluate and test applications
• Has general webapps coding skills, frontend mainly with Vue.js (preferred)
• A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, English communication skills.
• Able to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.
• Strong Digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digitalization transformation journey
