Objectives of the Position

• Our 6 months Internship Programme will give you insights into the various activities that take place in the BASF Shared Services Centre Kuala Lumpur
• Provide support to a range of processes and programs.
• Offer day-to-day support to assist in seeking for vendors for company discount programs, negotiation process and sealing deals.
• Participate process improvements, automation, and digitalization measures to offer best service delivery experience.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Seek and reach out to potential vendors/service providers that offer product/services that align with company values as well as employee needs/interests.
• Document discussion, negotiation, and agreement with vendor
• Facilitate communication between vendor and tax, finance & legal to ensure contract compliance.
• Engage with vendors to communicate alternative or additional terms to align with long term administrative capacity and company policy and process.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure activities are completed accurately and timely.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a Degree in Human Resources or in a comparable field
• Able to commit 6 months full-time internship.
• Strong people skills and influential abilities.
• Service mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good learning aptitude, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset
