Delivery Lead APA Delivery

Objectives of the Position

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Delivery Lead to join the APA Delivery team within BASF’s Agricultural Solutions Digital Factory, focusing on IT, Data, and Digital Transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of successful product implementations, demonstrating a hands-on leadership style to guide agile teams, facilitate key ceremonies, and embed agile practices. A strong commitment to continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and team empowerment is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of providing technical expertise, consultation, and guidance to the Product Team. Demostrating hands-on attitude, e.g. by organizing and facilitating required collaborations. 
• Understand the technical requirements of deliverables and align them with the Solution Design/Architecture Diagram, collaborating with the Solution Architect as necessary.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including developed code, stored in Azure DevOps.
• Support the Product Team with technical troubleshooting for the smooth implementation and maintenance of the solution, collaborating with the development team. 
• Collect feedback, address impediments, and advocate for process improvement, teamwork, and adherence to APB/I's ways of working to drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate productive team meetings, fostering equal participation through open communication. Establish collaboration and drive innovation as part of agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum framework and ceremonies)
• Align new requirements with team capacity, priorities, and report team performance to stakeholders. Drive clarity and simplification of complex subjects to enable team understanding and decision making. 
• Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure successful implementation, offering training or coaching for enhanced collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Working Experience

• Work experience within Digital teams and jobs.
• Experience in internal or external stakeholder management.
• Extensive experience in software development, architecture, and solution.
• Leadership experience within Agile organizations and Agile backlog management.
• Good in analytical thinking, problem solving, process and workflow analysis and modeling.
• Excellence in communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in documentation to maintaim technical documentation and coordination.
• Good understanding Solution Design/ Architecture Diagrams and aligning technical requirements.
• Adherence to IT & Data guidelines and standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in agile ways of working and team leadership (Scrum Master certification is a plus)
• Strong communication skills, Conflict resolution and Stakeholder management
• Capable of creating clear, concise, and visually professional materials (e.g. presentation) to effectively communicate key updates, decisions, and recommendations in a format that supports executive-level understanding and decision-making.
