Objectives of the Position 

• Bridge the gap between IT and business using data analytics to evaluate processes, recommend requirements and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Drive the development and implementation of data analytics initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business insights.
• Support in the development, testing and follow up on implementation of electronic workflows to improve work efficiency, transparency and traceability.
  
  

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• Implement a robust analytics strategy with a detailed execution roadmap.
• Deploy advanced tools and technologies to capture, process, and analyze data across multiple platforms.
• Serve as a data analytics subject matter expert to promote a data-driven culture.
• Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Create and maintain timely, insightful reports and interactive BI dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with various functions to perform detailed functional analysis of business requirements, outline problems, opportunities and propose solutions with a detailed execution roadmap for business.
• Regulatory Impact Assessment – Monitor and interpret changes in chemical safety regulations (e.g., REACH, OSHA, EPA, GHS) using BI tools.
• Maintain documentation of technical and business specifications for analytics products.
• Provide training and mentorship to country operations teams on analytics best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Business Management, Information Systems or equivalent disciplines that focus on extensive use of data for analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence. Experience working in artificial intelligence or data science projects is an advantage.
  
  

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate is essential. Familiarity with Power BI and generative AI is a plus.
• Experience in integrating data sources and services, including SharePoint, OneDrive, SQL databases, SAP and Excel.
• Exposure to coding and the ability to use analytical tools is an added advantage.
• Effective communication skills for requirement gathering, facilitating meetings between IT and business stakeholders and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
