Associate Analyst, Product Safety (1 year contract)

Objectives of the Position
- Deliver Shared Services transaction to BASF group companies in scope, accordance with established policies, guidelines, processes and work procedures.
- Ensure that timeliness and quality services are met based on the agreed Service Levels Agreement (SLA) with respective stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Trade Control officers, Customer Service officers, Procurement team, etc. to support the implementation of policies and processes through SAP system.
Main Tasks
- Work as Shared Service functional team to provide EHS Services delivery, such as GTS blocked order releasing, trade control data maintenance, SDS and product label local version releasing & etc.
- Communicate with stakeholders with regards to status of blocked orders, discuss and provide solution or escalate to Manager where relevant.
- Update work documents such as process description, work instruction, work guides, etc. to ensure continuous understanding within the function.
- Support internal and external audits, in accordance to established guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement plan or project when required.
- Prepare report where relevant for internal and external party.
- Attend training to ensure continuous understanding in area related to trade control and chemical regulations.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree in scientific area, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
Working Experience
- At least 1-2 years relevant experience
- Work experience in chemical regulations and/or product safety area is preferred.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Sound knowledge and experience in Chemistry, or SAP application in supply chain processes are highly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office is a PLUS
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have high sense of responsibility
- Proactive and be able to work under pressure and independently. Focus to details.
