Objectives of the Position :

In the role as Global Product Owner, you will :

• Work in a global and diverse team, with true global product ownership responsibility
• Take a leading role as Product Owner in process management, providing guidance and support to the team
• Consult and develop workflows using Bizagi as a Process Management Platform, including process flows, data models, web forms, integrations, work allocation, and business rules, following a low-code approach
• Improve DevOps automation using Node.js, C#, and .NET
• Coach colleagues based on your broad professional experience
• Act as an ambassador for Business Process Management, highlighting its benefits to business partners
• Collaborate closely with middleware teams using Apigee, SAP CPI, and SAP API Management
• Manage the application lifecycle as well as change and release management processes
• Apply agile development methodologies and tools, such as Kanban boards
  
  

Additionally, you will facilitate the ramp-up of our activities in Hyderabad, in this role you will:

• Orchestrate a cross-functional team and support the integration into the organization
• Support the hiring process and work with other leaders in the global organization to identify the best candidates
• Be the local admin lead for all team members working in our segment, which is responsible for Digitalization of R&D and Data Science within BASF group, while the organizational setup is getting established
• Practice and grow in leadership skills, and lay the foundation for further career development
  
  

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities :

• Elaborate functional requirements with business partners using Design Thinking principles
• Create solution designs and effort estimations to populate the product backlog
• Serve as the single point of contact for internal business partners by orchestrating solution components delivered by partner teams (e.g., interface, middleware, and backend development) and their architects
• Provide early consulting to internal business partners, including use-case definition, workflow engine demonstrations, and solution recommendations based on the full GDS portfolio
• Implement workflows using the Bizagi Cloud Platform (process flows, data models, user interfaces, integrations, and business rules)
• Ensure quality through unit and functional testing and compliance with security guidelines
• Drive sustainable solutions and automation of repetitive manual tasks
• Coach team members and actively share best practices within the team
  
  

Job Requirements (minimum requirement to carry out the work)

Education :

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
  
  

Working Experience :

• Minimum 6 years related professional experience with first experience in leading teams
  
  

Technical & Professional Knowledge :

• Strong expertise in Business Process Modeling (BPMN 2.0) and Business/Digital Process Automation (preferably Bizagi BPM, or comparable platforms such as Pegasystems or Appian)
• Strong experience with Node.js, C#, .NET, Azure SQL Database (including stored procedures, triggers, and job scheduling), and at least one web development framework
• Design and development of .NET components, SOAP services, SQL stored procedures, triggers, ETL jobs, and middleware solutions to integrate Bizagi with enterprise applications
• Solid experience in requirements engineering (use case definition)
• Experience in DevOps practices

• Strong analytical skills and a high level of customer orientation
