• Authorization troubleshooting (SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE) 

HCM-Specific Authorization Expertise 

• Infotype- and subtype-based authorization logic 

• Understanding HR master data sensitivities 

• Knowledge of personnel areas, groups, and payroll relevance 

• Understanding core HR processes (hire, transfer, termination) 

Structural Authorizations in HCM 

• Organizational management basics (org units, positions, reporting lines) 

• Structural authorizations for managers and HR roles 

• Analysis of visibility issues related to org structure 

Customizing and Enhancements 

• HCM customizing related to authorizations 

• ABAP read/debug skills for authorization checks 

• Basic understanding of Fiori/UI5 or Web Dynpro if applicable
