End-to-End responsibility and accountability on building up a product that balances a good level of standardization and scalability with a reasonable level of customization. 
•    Consultancy 
o    Translates functional requirements into technical specifications 
o    Leverage the business/process knowledge in the teams and define the best technical design of new functionalities 
o    Drive for sustainable solutions  
o    Leverages the use of standard functionalities to reduce non-standard development 
•    Development 
o    Customize a third-party ABAP–based solution 
o    Develop new functionalities as add-ons for the Yard Management Standard Solution 
o    Handle the interfaces with central systems like SAP ERP, TM or EWM. 
o    Customization of SAP ERP, TM, eWM, etc. 
o    Handle global as well as site specific releases according to pre-defined release management processes (SOLMAN) 
•    Quality assurance 
o    Perform Unit testing to ensure a high quality of the code delivered 
o    Support PO’s with the functional testing and the UAT 
o    Automate regression tests 
•    Collaboration 
o    Leverage multicultural and geographically distributed team to build up the best solution 
o    Collaborate in a global team of technical and functional experts. 
o    Drive innovation on how to keep enhancing the product 
o    Active participation in designing a global yard logistics template for BASF 
Required skills, knowledge and experiences 
•    SAP 
o    Minimum 5+ years’ experience in working as ABAP developer or similar role. 
o    Experience in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) – configuration, enhancement, and technical architecture.
o    Strong ABAP development skills, including object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement framework.
o    Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies: IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and SAP Integration Suite (CPI/API Management).
o    
o    Excellent judgement. Able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid, logical decisions in a fast-moving company. 
•    SAP S/4 Hana
o    Previous experience in R/3 to S/4 migration projects
o    Previous experience S/4 customization
•    Integrations
•    5+ years of experience in system integrations with special attention to multi-ERP scenarios.
•    Learning 
o    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, physics or related, from an accredited college or university 
•    Soft skills 
o    A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve. 
o    Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.  
o    Native Mandarin language knowledge 
o    Advanced English skills
