GDD/EK - Senior DevOps Engineer Plant Maintenance & Engineering Project Solutions (M/F/D)
Responsibilities:
Formular to success: - Demonstrating your proficiency in the SAP Modules Plant
Maintenance, Project Systems or Project and Portfolio Management, where you will
support our system and its related mobile Apps. - Your main tasks will be error and
problem solving, debugging and testing of SAP standard functions as well as own
developed programs. - Act as a Global / Regional representative of BASF Digital
community, supporting BASF Digital roadmap, helping Global Digital Services to identify,
execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable
way. Main responsibilities: - You will be responsible for ensuring the operation for one of
the above-mentioned SAP Modules plus get knowledge and support one of the other two
modules - You will do error analysis and corrections of Incident and Problems (Provide 2nd
and/or 3rd level support). - As part of our agile development team you will work on user
stories, do the development and testing of new features. - With your extensive experience
on the subject matter, you will guide, coach and train other team members build
competencies in the module. - You will be assigned projects where you will have end to
end responsibility for all deliverables
Qualifications: - Your in-depth knowledge in software development (least 3 years' experience) will be
essential to bring value to our team. - Your experience with digitalization technologies such
as Augmented Reality, Mobile Solutions (e.g. SAP Asset Manager, UI5 Apps) or interface
technologies (e.g. Web Services, OData) will be an advantage for implementing innovative
business solutions - Using your very good English skills, will serve you well as you will be
embedded in our global team and in direct contact to our internal end users. Technical and
professional knowledge: Familiarity with technology like - SAP ABAP - SAP ABAP OO -
SAP Web Dynpro - Core Data Services (CDS-Views) - Odata Services - SAP UI5 (Fiori) /
JavaScript - You communicate with openness, clarity and in very good English (spoken
and written) - Structured, independent, and conscientious working style - Experiencing
Agile way of working will be an advantage
