The Integration Platform is a versatile framework for building and executing integration scenarios—serving both internal and external needs. As part of our mission, you’ll help implement Enterprise Integration Concept capabilities across Data Integration, Thing Integration, Process Integration, and User Integration. Be part of building the future of integration platform in Hyderabad! As an Integration Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping a self-service, governed, and highly visible integration lifecycle for APIs, events, and workflows. Your expertise will help design and develop essential backend services that drive orchestration, governance, discovery, and automation—leveraging the power of Kubernetes. Join us to create robust solutions that accelerate digital transformation and make a real impact on global business operations.
Main Tasks / Scope of Work
Our main requirements:
§ Create lifecycle workflows with Argo (or Camunda) and connect them to backend services and Kafka events.
§ Include governance and approval steps, and guarantee that processes are auditable and traceable.
§ Develop and deliver platform services using Spring Boot, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for our Hyderabad team.
§ Create and maintain REST APIs to support registry, marketplace backend, lifecycle management, and governance processes.
§ Integrate and manage PostgreSQL databases, optimising performance and reliability for business-critical applications.
§ Implement automation workflows utilising Argo or Camunda to streamline and enhance operational efficiency.
§ Produce and consume Kafka events, enabling seamless communication and data exchange across platform components.

§ Expertise in multiple integration technologies, such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, Kafka, or comparable platforms
§ Understanding of data management and governance principles and best practices
§ Proficient in database administration, ensuring optimum performance and reliability
Job Requirements

Education and work experience § Degree in computer science, information technology, business informatics, or a related discipline
§ At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
§ Familiarity with Agile methodologies or experience in Agile implementation
§ Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural DevOps teams. Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
Mandatory expertise in
• Experience with setting up and operating Argo Workflows (or Camunda) in Kubernetes (k8s)
• Integration of systems using REST APIs
• Kubernetes (application operation)
§ Knative
§ Knowledge of Kafka
• Traefik Ingress
• Securing Microservices
• Azure Key Vault
§ cert-manager

• Familiarity with BPMN
Expertise in Software Development
• Programming Languages and Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot, with a robust understanding of building scalable and maintainable backend systems.
• API Design and Integration: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between services and client applications.
• Database Management: Proficient in PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimisation, and integration with enterprise applications.
• Containerisation and Orchestration: Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes at the application level, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerised microservices. Practical experience with Knative for managing serverless workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
• Streaming and Messaging: Hands-on expertise with Kafka at the application level, enabling reliable data streaming and event-driven architectures within distributed environments.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment: Track record of designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.
Language Proficiency Strong command of English, both spoken and written
