Formula for Success

As the Production Manager & Biologist, you’ll be at the heart of our production site, overseeing our lake system operations and ensuring the efficient harvesting of Beta carotene, while maintaining compliance with our global standards and regulatory requirements.

You’ll:

• Oversee raw material and product logistics using SAP and mass balance systems.
• Conduct water analysis, monitor cell counts, and assess culture health.
• Adjust nutrient and seawater inputs to optimize lake productivity.
• Monitor trace elements and supplement as needed.
• Supervise nutrient additions and maintain weather station data.
• Develop and implement procedures for safe and efficient production.

Ingredients for Success

To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate in depth knowledge of production, managing biological processes and working within a highly regulated environment. You’ll be a natural communicator with the ability to train and develop operational staff.

You’ll:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environment.
• Prior experience in biological or chemical process control.
• Have strong knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP quality systems.
• Working knowledge of OH&S, risk assessments, and change management.
