About the Role
Reporting to Senior Manager, Product Management Personal Care, you will:
- Support in developing strategic business direction
- Drive department growth ambitions by pursuing long-term strategic partnership models
- Act as project manager for implementation of strategic measures and partnership models
How You Will Do It
Act as Project Management Office (PMO) for department growth ambitions
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives in advanced countries.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Define and prepare target partnership models
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal capabilities to identify and design optimal partnership models.
- Develop business cases and value propositions for potential partnerships, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals. Lead negotiations with external parties and support make versus buy analyses
Steer internal decision-making process incl. approval processes
- Facilitate internal alignment by coordinating with relevant departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to gather input and secure approvals.
- Prepare and present proposals to senior management and steering committees, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Align global asset landscape and volume flows to maximize value and ensure long-term cost competitiveness
Steer partnership development and merger & acquisition (M&A) negotiations
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership and M&A opportunities in line with business growth ambitions.
- Lead due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external experts to assess risks and synergies.
- Drive post-merger integration activities to ensure seamless transition and realization of expected benefits.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Strategy or related disciplines
- At least 8 years’ experience in sourcing and contract negotiations
- Experience in preparing compelling proposals and demonstrate strong communication skills across multi layers of the organization from senior management to production co-workers.
- Experience in working in regional/ global teams and working with employees from different countries/ cultures required
- Good communication skills in English both written and spoken
