Job Title: Manager, New Business Development, Aroma Ingredients India

Objectives of the Position :

 

  • Execute and ramp up Specialty Ingredient sales in APAC according to strategic business plan

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:

 

  1. New business development – actively develop new customers, applications and markets for Specialty Ingredient business including identification & build-up of (innovation) partnerships for APAC
  2. Responsible for local orchestration of tolling setup and execution, across all interfaces within India and towards EU
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to align product development with market demands.
  5. Lead negotiations and close deals that contribute to sustainable business growth.
  6. Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  7. Prepare business cases, forecasts, and reports to track progress and impact of new initiatives.

 

Job Requirements :

 

Education - At least Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology/ Business Administration

Working Experience - At least 10-15 years work experience of which 5 years in sales/new business development management in Asia.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

  • Aroma Flavor Industry knowledge would be an added advantage
  • High degree of customer focus, with entrepreneurial thinking, proactive and good problem-solving skills
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
