About The Role

To service the customers of the assigned Business Unit and order management

How You Will Do It

Strategic Key Activities

  • Lead the complete supply planning and customer Service Officer for Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR) SBU
  • Perform sales and delivery order management according to SOP
  • Monitor orders and communicate to customer & Sales team on order status
  • Perform business rules and manage data related to order-to-cash process.
  • Be responsible to conduct Monthly S&OP meetings & provide key inputs to management for EO operations during meeting.
  • Conduct regular analysis of supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams i.e. operations, product management & controlling to optimize supply chain processes and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the supply chain & taking necessary actions wherever required.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Develop & implement strategies for the disposition of obsolete inventory
  • Analyse & improve supply chain processes & operations to optimize the cost.
  • Manage supply crises & guiding the team through challenging times.

Operational

  • Inventory monitoring – local key user of SCII to report DIV, OIV, aging stock
  • Forecast Accuracy – DP FCA reports (external and internal)
  • Logistics Costs – monitor monthly development (filling, packaging, shipping, distribution, demurrage)
  • NCM monthly report – local key user of NCM, report NCM KPIs monthly
  • Delivery Services – local key user of DSC, report DC/DR monthly
  • Respond to verbal (or written) requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring any promises made are fulfilled
  • Determine the appropriate solution by following operating procedures. Resolve issues without unnecessary delay and escalate more complex problems as required
  • Listen carefully to instructions and questions and check for understanding
  • Consistently deliver work tasks on time and to agreed standards. Alert colleagues or manager in advance when timeline or quality of the deliverables is likely to be affected
  • Proactively seek guidance and asks questions to understand structures, processes, systems and responsibilities EV SCM, and how own role contributes to the broader team goals
  • Creation of Sales Orders based on customer PO or Sales Forecast
  • Tracking of orders, Sales & Customer Receivables on daily basis and highlighting issues if any
  • Connect with Customer on periodic basis
  • Customer AR follow up for payment purpose review credit limit with sales team
  • Follow up with Customer for Call ups against the tender qty and to keep a track of the supplies to avoid oversupply. Forecast and plan the orders  to avoid / minimise delay penalty. Align with Sales colleague and transmit the orders accordingly
  • Focus on digitalisation and utilization of digital tools
  • Co-ordinate with transportation team for vehicle placement & reduced cost for the BU
  • APO forecasting and updating the same in system
  • Inventory control & review of aged inventory

 

What We Look For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain or Logistics Mgt.
  • Working Experience: Min 7 years relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain function
  • Soft Skills: MS Office (Power BI, Excel & Power Point), Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP R3, APO DP, SNP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP R3, APO DP, SNP).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and compliance standards in supply chain management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in planning and execution.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or APICS certification are a plus.
  • Well versed with SAP Order To Cash (OTC) processes
  • Good understanding of the products/services of relevant business segments
  • Good knowledge of the business processes
  • Service excellence competencies
  • Ability to collaborate within and outside the team for servicing the customers
