Diagnose and Lead Supply Chain Process and Performance Improvement
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of performance and operational robustness in both physical and system processes from physical and information flows, delivery reliability, NPS lead time, inventory, direct labor, and process efficiency in single or multi-interfaces in Supply Chain including Order to Cash, Distribution Network, Logistics etc.
- Periodically assess distribution networks (e.g. tanks, warehouses, delivery routes, ports) and logistics cost to identify discrepancies and drive benchmarking of different operations
- Facilitate proactive information flow to ensure supply or logistics issues impacting current deliveries trigger notifications that can be immediately followed up on.
- Act as a cross-functional or divisional facilitator with strong collaboration with high-level process owners and sponsors.
Setup SCM (Supply Chain Management) Dashboard, Monitor and Enhance Supply Chain KPI
- Develop SCM dashboard for department business to cover the standard KPIs and SCM costs.
- Monitor key KPIs such as DIV, OIV, E-share, Hand-free rate, NCM, DR etc. to measure success and set appropriate parameters to lay foundation for process improvement and digitalization.
• Monitor and enhance existing SC (Supply Chain) Dashboard covering the needs of monitoring and proactive track and trace solutions from regional and key countries level
• NPS system ownership within department as key user and act as interface with Sales Team and BASF Digitalization platform to improve response rate and address unsatisfactory ratings.
• To provide ad hoc data and trend analysis to facilitate decision making.
Co-facilitate Digitalization of SCM
- Strengthen Supply Chain’s operational efficiency and improvement through digital solutions and ensure integration of digital tools or software
- Drive collaboration with key digital partner/s in the Order to Cash area including order management, real-time order monitoring, NC Slicer, MyBASFworld and other simplify solutions
- Provide training and support to SC and Sales & Marketing team to drive adoption and utilization of digitalization and data analytics tools
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in supply chain. Good knowledge of overall supply chain process with deeper knowledge in 1 or 2 fields
- Proven experience in driving and implementing Supply Chain process improvement projects
- Proficiency in data management and analytics tools e.g. Power BI, Python etc. to leverage data for decision-making
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to perform detailed gap analysis
- Good proficiency in English and Chinese for active contribution in discussion including technical topics is essential
- Basic understanding of SAP
- Project management experience e.g. Six sigma
