
Manager, Operational Controlling(006306)
- Digitalization
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement a digital strategy specific to the finance function.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated to reduce errors and save time and improve productivities
• ICIS Dashboard, Daily Sales Report
- Capex and reporting
• Develop and manage the capital budgeting process including proposed CapEx projects, determining their feasibility, analyzing potential returns, and prioritizing investments based on strategic objectives.
• Monitor the progress of capital projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that they are executed on time and within budget.
• Implement and maintain cost control measures related to CapEx to prevent overruns and ensure that expenditures provide value.
- Operational Planning & Forecasting
• Conceptualize and lead the bottom-up operational planning with relevant teams both in BU and RBU/GBU and prepare the relevant data & information. (incl. rationales for the projected changes)
• Use easy to understand templates to gather the information from all relevant teams to establish the annual cost planning.
• Conduct gap analysis between actuals and plans.
• Provide local management with business/operation forecast and recommendation (Sales, cost, EBIT forecast, raw material price trend, capacity utilization, FX-exposure etc.)
• Highlight risks independently at an early stage and suggest solutions from a controlling point of view.
- Target Setting
• Support local BU target setting (KPI & Working capital) based on the approved OP information. Cascade the OP information properly and proactively down to all relevant parties in alignment with the management team.
• Evaluate/monitor the actual performances compared with targets and proactively propose action plans on a continuous basis.
- Country Controlling
• Provide detailed monthly reports and commentaries (P&L, fixed cost, cCM1 and working capital related KPI, Production report, HC report) to the local management and regional business unit
• Accountable for business specific topics and proactively highlight issues/risks.
• Monitor working capital (account receivable/ DSO, Inventory/ DIV, etc.) closely and pre-alert the potential risks.
• Support GB controlling team on GC reconciliation and provide volume, net sales and cCM1 forecast on monthly basis.
- Others
• Ad hoc support for regional/ country projects, e.g. support commercial audits
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Working Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance, controlling and planning from industrial environment or chemical industry; international company is preferred
(Candidates with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager)
• In-depth Knowledge and understanding in planning & controlling processes
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications
• Comprehensive understanding of SAP or other ERP applications
• Advanced communication skill in both English and Mandarin
