Asst. Manager – Electrical

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

 

General:

  1. Knowledge of Operation and Maintenance of 66Kv Switchyard and its associated equipment.
  1. Should have Supervisor License from GEB.
  2. Knowledge of Maintenance of 6.6Kv and above Electrical Panel along with SF6 breaker, VCB and ACB, DG Set.
  3. Knowledge of all types of LT Panels, Controls and Equipment’s like PCC, MCC, PDB, LDB, Distribution and Power transformer.
  4. Responsible for Coordination with Electrical Inspector and DGVCL personnel for legal compliance and approvals.
  5. Monitor and compliance with statutory requirements like electricity duty payment and electrical inspection.
  6. Preparing and maintaining of ISO/EFFCI GMP/IATF/IMS 9001/14001 & EnMS 50001 documentations related to electrical.
  7. To Support for Execution of small projects, modification jobs (MOC).
  8. Working knowledge of SAP PM MM module.
  9. Responsible for preparation of Work Orders, Planning, execution, closure of WO in SAP.
  10. To suggest new ideas to improve reliability, ease of operation, ease of maintenance, Plant safety, Plant condition
  11. Regular Monitoring and maintaining Electricity consumption details of all plants and utilities.
  12. Maintain and keep machines in good condition to facilitate continuous production to meet Production demand.
  1. Responsible for effective functioning of maintenance team consisting of maintenance technicians for their day-to-day operations.
  1. Prepare yearly preventive maintenance plan and implement the same.
  2. Monitoring breakdown occurrences, breakdown timing and machinery running hours etc and analyzing the data to improve reliability and to minimize the downtime of machines.
  3. To ensure critical spares availability.
  4. Work closely with the production team to achieve safety in all respects.
  5. Day to day planning and execution in co-ordination with production team for maintenance work (Preventive maintenance, other maintenance activity) as per priority defined in SAP (Operational maintenance Coordination).
  6. To make sure that the notification’s quality is sufficient for planning and execution as well as for documentation and future analysis. Furthermore, he will discuss priorities of maintenance jobs with the Production Team.
  7. To plan the maintenance job with desired resources like material, manpower, external resource and services.
  8. To ensure that 5Why/ RCA to be prepared for major breakdown and implementation of necessary Corrective and Preventive actions.
  9. Coordination with cross functional/ Production department for smooth operation & maintenance activity.
  10. To ensure proper work execution as per SOP and to ensure documentation (Check list, Service report, History sheet, Planner).
  11. To carry out/ planning of maintenance activity with optimum resource within maintenance budget.
  12. Checking all service-related bill measurement and service entry in SAP.
  13. To prepare and maintain documentation related to audit.
  14. Monitor and compliance with statutory requirements.
  15. Development of subordinates by identifying training needs and providing good working culture.

 

 RCMS Responsibility:

  1. Set an example of safe working to personnel under their supervision.
  1. Ensure that employees and contractors are communicated about RC requirements.
  2. Assess employee safety performance and arrange any additional training requirements, if required.
  3. Ensure that all RC rules, procedures, regulations and safe working practices are understood and adhered to by all employees and contractors.
  4. Ensure that tools and equipment are used for their intended purpose, properly maintained and hazard free.
  5. Inspect the workplace on a routine basis for potential hazards and take appropriate action to eliminate them.
  6. Promote and enhance engagements by regular Safety talk, Training to Employee, Contractor.
  7. Performs the role as defined in On-site Emergency Plan to mitigate the emergencies.

 

Job Requirements (minimum requirement to carry out the work)

  • Education - B.E. / B.Tech - Electrical
  • Working Experience - 8 years - 12 years

    Technical & Professional Knowledge -

Supervisor License from GEB.

Knowledge of Maintenance of 6.6Kv and above Electrical Panel along with SF6 breaker, VCB and ACB, DG Set.

Knowledge of all types of HT (High tension) & LT (Low tension) Panels, Controls and Equipment’s like PCC (Power control central), MCC (Motor Control center) , PDB (Power Distribution board), LDB, Distribution and Power transformer.
