Main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all EHS guideline, related Quality standards, GMP, Halal, Energy management, RSPO and RC requirements. during the shift working. Ensure EHS rule / regulation and RC requirements are followed including shutting down equipment that cannot be operated safety and to dismiss people who don’t follow the rule.
  • Implements existing production recipes and adjust as necessary to produce products within specifications.
  • Be responsible for reporting any issues or quality defects to his supervisor/manager. If corrective action is necessary, the shift leader must seek the assistance of his supervisor.
  • Maintain the workplace and working environment that support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations as well as Company EHS guideline, RC Requirements, Quality system ISO 9001, EFfCI GMP, Halal, RSPO and Energy Management.
  • Be responsible for scheduling, staffing, and organizing the work and workers on their shifts. If an employee is not able to be at work, the shift leader is responsible for making sure that the absent employee’s position is covered by another employee.
  • Coordinate logistic & production planner to ensure on time of incoming materials for production.
  • Ensure correct and on time SAP reporting.
  • Issue maintenance notification and safe work permits.
  • Ensure that team members follow MIR/WI and assist team for troubleshooting.
  • Leading role for shift changes meeting to ensure all issues has been captured.
  • Act as SIMT (Site Incident Management Team) during shift working.
  • Perform special tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • High school or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience of working in production processing / operations/ manufacturing. 
  • Able to work in shift pattern. Good understanding of production process and basic product chemistry.
