Main responsibilities 

EHS Management System: 

  • Support to implement EHS, RC requirements and relevant standard. 
  • Collaborate with the employees and contractor to identify potential risk & hazard. Identify control measure or improvement actions to meet the EHS requirements and safe workplace standard. 
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external site safety and quality audits to ensure the effective realization of the audit activities. 

Environmental Management:

  • Coordinate, arrange and deliver EMS related trainings to relevant persons, including contractors. 
  • Continuously improve on EMS. 

Compliance:

  • Maintain database on all applicable EHS laws and regulations, including regulation evaluation. 
  • Organize and coordinate with suppliers for environmental and chemical monitoring in workplace e.g. air emission, noise, heat, lighting, chemicals, soil and groundwater. 
  • Submit report to authority within time frame.  
  • Develop and improve work instructions and procedures according to EHS requirements and standards. 

Management plans and programs: 

  • Support EHS audit preparation, pre-audits and any relevant audits. 
  • Consolidate follow-up status of action defined items. 
  • Support site for internal / external EHS reports, e.g. monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, etc. 
  • Drive EHS programs such as annual health check-up, emergency response preparedness, roadshow and SHE committee. 

Safety Leadership 

  • Implement EHS activities to improve EHS culture, e.g. PSM committee. 
  • Perform plant inspection regularly together with the area owner to maintain and improve workplace safety. 

 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor degree of Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent subject. 
  • 3 - 10 years’ direct experience related to safety, health and environmental areas in chemical industry. Certified Safety Officer as required by Thai regulations
