Main responsibilities

• Plan and co-ordinate daily operations and ensure the employees# ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations. Counsel, record and discipline as necessary. Develop team leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned team members.
• Establish and maintain a customer’s services system to track the service levels, especially the availability and reliability of delivery Participate in the development and implementation of the company business strategy and budget planning by providing logistics inputs to support decisions on costing, pricing and efficient product distribution.
• Determine the manpower requirements and labor division, unit structure, performance objectives and standards, team member performance measurement and improvement, budget, expenditures and cost control.
• Analyze potential drawbacks for improvements and take corrective measures. When necessary, take responsibility for the damage claim to protect the interests of the company.
• Maintain the workplace and working environment that support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations as well as Company EHS guideline, RC Requirements, Quality system ISO 9001, EFfCI GMP, Halal, RSPO and Energy management.
• Ensure the installations in the warehouse areas and the facility for material movement are sufficient and are kept technically safe to enable the warehouse to meet all relevant statutory regulations, codes of practice and company requirements.
• Ensure warehouse and logistic operation comply with local statutory requirements including necessary permits and other equipment under warehouse and logistic operation.
• Maintain and equipment structure and level to accomplish the warehousing and receiving assignments in a safe, effective manner. Provide appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials. Research material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability and cost.
• Monitor the unloading of all materials. Ensure materials are storage for counting and inspection and the receiving reports are accurately and timely submitted. Resolve discrepancies with accounting / production personnel regarding invoices, packing slips and receiving reports. Monitor the flow of paperwork to the defined functions and oversee the movement of materials from receiving to warehouse in an efficient, effective and safe manner.  
• Support supervisor’s annual budget development by recommending annual budget requirements for the warehousing activities with consideration on the needs of future material handling equipment and manpower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business management or chemical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in warehouse or logistics operations is required.
• Demonstrated experience within the manufacturing or chemical industries.
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai, along with computer literacy.
