Field Operations Assistant
Objectives of the Position:

Assist and help the Field Operations Manager in the smooth implementation of in-house and off-site “Farm Operation Activities” of the Agricultural Research Station (ARS) – Bay Laguna.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Assist the Field Operations Manager in the planning, organizing and allocating of resources for the efficient execution of trials/ experiment of the customers: Field Biology Indications (Fungicide, Herbicide and Insecticide) and Insecticide Research (Insectary Team, CTI Team and advance Testing/Microplot Team).
- Help the Field Operations Manager in creating good communication and interaction with other agricultural research stations, research institutes, universities, and suppliers to gain and share best practice(s).
- Help in the monitoring and implementation of health and safety policies/procedures, EHS/RCMS/EMS, and DOLE regulations.
Job Requirements
- College Graduate (preferably in Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering) or related Sciences
- At least 3-5 years of experience handling farm operations
- Research process, farm operations (i.e., handling farm implements/machineries etc.,) and agronomy (standard procedure in growing plants)
- Technical knowhow in analyzing the problems and relate solutions to the occurring problems
- Creative and Innovative – Presence of passion in helping the team to optimize further existing methodologies and procedures
- Computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Power point, Excel, etc.).
- Demonstrate professionalism, and integrity at work.
- Demonstrate high level of energy and maintain stable performance under pressure.
- Proactive, can work independently and in teams
