Objectives of the Position

• To drive business development according to the agreed strategies, policies and practices, to provide inputs and participate in the marketing/ market development and planning, technical development of products and services to support the implementation of sales strategies and polices in the assigned areas/ districts.
• Develop, monitor, and implement product development procedure, quality control procedures and policies according to corporate standards to ensure that raw materials meet the production requirements and products satisfy customer expectations and achieve superior reliability. Supervise and monitor quality assurance system related activities to ensure obtain of certification and maintain the quality assurance system in the Company.

Main Tasks

• Control Product Design and Development (APQP) Process
• Knowledgeable in ISO-9001, ISO-14001, ISO45001, IATF16949 system and core tools.
• Knowledgeable in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Develops new products and modify existing products, processes and methods to fulfil technical and customer’s requirements
• Create APQP documentation for new color developments & verify the feasibility of new color for the pigmentation combination
• Implement optimization measures to the responsible products and lab test to verify the new techniques, methods etc.
• Solves problems, examines root causes of encountered problems
• Create work instruction new testing method
• Responsible for raw material qualification
• Be responsible laboratory Management
• Be responsible for customer complaint & understand non-conforming product & process procedure
• Be responsible for controlling of measuring and testing equipment
• Provide technical support as trouble shooters and technical consultant.
• Support activities of product which include developing formula for product improvement
• Support manufacturing operations in standardizing manufacturing methods.

Responsible Care and EHS

• Maintain safe working environment and operate safely for support work safety and efficient production activities according to plant safety regulations, Company EHS guideline, RC Requirements and Quality and Energy management system
• Ensure all activities comply to all IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, EHS rules/regulation and RC requirement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Technical development experience 3-5 years
• Technical and R&D and technical problem solving
• Excellent people management, influencing and negotiation skills
• Good communication and presentation skill in English
