Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Main Tasks

• According to the supervisor’s work arrangement and instruction, install, relocate, remove/replace, relevant equipment.
• Install support systems necessary for the installation of new or for the repairing existing equipment
• Maintain, inspect, test, and adjust all physical plant systems, machinery and equipment on a regular basis in order to detect any potential problems.
• Carry out repair service for equipment by coordinate to Production Units.
• Detect the frequent default machine and conduct simple repairing timely.
• Report to supervisor usual or unsolvable problems to ensure the smooth operation of the machinery/equipment.
• Set up training program of all new equipment for user.
• Monitor the stock of spare parts and initial request for replenishment to ensure no interruption of operation of the equipment repairing due to stock problems.
• Collect, file, keep updated and maintain the records and quality documents of building and structure’s maintenance and repair, support the safety and security requirements.
• Ensure technical documentation as updating Risk Base Maintenance documentation and coordinate to other engineering disciplines to optimize preventive maintenance plan and strategy, gather technical information and generate purchase requisition to start procurement process.
• Control all projects to meet construction safety, quality, budget and time frame.
• Coordinate with purchasing department to negotiate with supplier/contractor and clarify scope of work for project.
• Make project proposal consists of P&ID, cost estimation, schedule, validation protocol and equipment/machine detail for approving.
• Lead Job Safety Analysis with safety and production team. Control contractors to work with EHS.
• Test run and commissioning. Compiling equipment specification and design.
• Coordinate with maintenance section to select equipment for suitable with their activity.
• Follow up the project result after erection to ensure all project will be performed with requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least 1-2 years directly related work experience in maintenance of manufacturing or chemical industry.
• Good personnel and team leadership.
• Good knowledge of chemical production or manufacturing.
