About The Role

-    Development of new application and/or new products based on business needs

-    Technical support for Asia-Pacific customers, sales and product managers

-    Support technology team with plants production troubleshoot, process optimization and analytics


How You Will Do It

-    Carry out lab innovation projects independently and update project status timely, including literature study, lab trial setup and support patents preparation (where necessary)

-    Lead and support new products and new application development and launch

-    Proper documentation of all activities, compile testing results and share report

-    Support customer projects (on-site/ off-site) independently and update project status timely

-    Work with country sales team and regional marketing teams to support business needs for new application development, product analysis, NCM and product training

-    Work with technology team to support plant optimization process

-    Ensure BASF safety standards are adhered

 

What We Look For

-    Bachelor's Degree or above, major in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science

-    At least 2 years working experience is preferred, ideally in PU, Epoxy, Coatings, Metalworking fluids

-    Knowledge in laboratory techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration

-    Excellent communication skills, team player who is able to interact in multicultural & multi functional environment

-    Good command of English and mandarin in speaking and written

-    Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, technical background

-    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
