Responsibilities: 
´We are establishing a new global product team, S4 AMS Operations, within the Product 
Family Finance & Procurement Solutions. The team will be based in Hyderabad, India, and 
will form part of our new digital hub launching this year.  Its mission: to take over SAP 
S/4HANA topics transitioning from project mode into operations across multiple business 
areas—Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality 
Management, Warehousing, SAP Business Data Cloud, and more. The team will work in 
an agile setup, closely connected to our global product organizations and to the ongoing 
global S/4 transformation program.  We are looking for a Product Manager who will shape 
and lead this new operational area from day one, starting no later than July 1, 2026. In this 
role, you will manage product activities as S/4 project waves enter steady-state operations, 
ensure value-driven and reliable delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders and peers 
across domains and regions.  This position offers the opportunity to build something new 
and become a cornerstone of the long‑term operational backbone of our global S/4

Responsibilities   Build and lead a newly formed S4 AMS Operations team in India and 
additional regions, fostering an open, collaborative, and growth-oriented work environment.   
Enable the team to take ownership of S/4 operational topics transitioning from project 
delivery into stable operations, providing clarity, context, and decision-making support.   
Establish a robust operational model for SAP S/4HANA across multiple modules and 
business domains.   Drive continuous improvement of S/4 operational processes—
leveraging AI where beneficial—ensuring harmonization, lean practices, and structured 
product lifecycle management with a strong focus on radical standardization.   Develop 
internal expertise to ensure long-term operational excellence across the S/4 solution 
landscape.   Take responsibility for business outcomes, operational performance, budget 
planning, and sourcing within the S4 AMS Operations scope.   Contribute to the 
organizational development of our broader product families and be an active member of a 
forward‑looking leadership team. 
Qualifications: 
`Proven experience in S/4HANA application operations, ideally including leadership 
responsibility in a similar enterprise environment.   A role‑model mindset—leading by 
example, inspiring others through passion, clarity, and commitment, and fostering a winning 
team culture.   Strong servant leadership qualities: visionary thinking, motivational ability, 
and a focus on developing talent.   A user‑centric, agile, and open mindset, with hands-on 
experience in agile delivery models.   A solution-oriented approach and solid understanding 
of core S/4 AMS technical processes.   Excellent communication skills in English and a 
high level of enthusiasm and engagement.   Willingness to work in an international 
environment—potentially including early mornings, skipped lunch breaks, or late evenings 
depending on your location and global collaboration needs.
