DevOps Engineer OMP SnOP
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

You are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting OMP related developments using OPAL.
-
Deep-dive into the supply chain planning environment and focus on Sales & Operational planning and Supply Planning
-
Be part of supply chain planning system squads to work on functional development, supply chain planning solutions design, system configuration as well as on-going support after roll out in BUs/ODs.

Build and deploy the templates using GIT version control system.

Experience in implementing SOP planning cycle/solvers/conflicts in OPAL programming language.

Understanding software development lifecycle including automated testing and working on the development and operational topics

Skills in programming language python, Java, C++ Education

Proactively work in sprints, taking care of user stories
-
Your daily routine will start with an agile stand-up meeting and you will work on functional designs and developments, technical setups and configurations, functional testing and documentation, debugging, user acceptance testing, post go-life ongoing support as well as training key users in various business units and countries, take care of master data setup etc.
Education:
-
Bachelor or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
Working Experience:
-
Minimum 5years’ experience in supply chain with good understanding of system background (OMP or SAP APO)
-
Excellent communication skills in English with customers/Internal business partners
-
Supply chain system functional design, configuration and debugging experience
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
-
Solid DevOps knowledge of supply chain planning related solutions (OMP or SAP APO)
-
Process knowledge of supply chain planning at least in one of area : Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Planning
-
Knowledge of MS AzureDevOps, Confluence Experience
-
Strong collaboration skills with diverse team members
-
Experience in agile way of working or agile implementation approach
-
Openness to new trends and innovative solutions.

Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe
