Objectives of the Position

  • Manage the complete planning role which includes Demand & Supply planning 
  • Support in Merchandise stock planning for ASEAN 
  • Assist in Raw Material Planning 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute demand and supply planning strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely fulfilment of business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
  • Monitor market trends and historical data to create accurate demand forecasts and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Balance demand forecast against supply capability and inventory to create a feasible constrained rough-cut supply plan for Merchandise Products.
  • Assist in raw material planning by coordinating with suppliers and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and reports on inventory, demand forecasts, and supply schedules for effective decision-making.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within planning functions to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects, contributing insights for continuous improvement of planning processes.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with hands-on planning experience
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship/project exposure are encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, MRP, APO)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau; exposure to modern AI tools is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach in addressing issues and identifying opportunities
  • Prior experience in a site-based or manufacturing environment is an added advantage
  • Project management experience is a plus
